应许悔改者必蒙恩与复兴

59 主耶和华这样说:你这藐视誓言、背弃盟约的,我必照着你所行的报应你。

“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant.

60 “‘但我仍要记念在你年幼的时候与你所立的约,也要与你坚立永远的约。

Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

61 你接纳你姊姊和你妹妹回来的时候,你就会想起你所行的,并要自觉惭愧;我要把她们赐给你作女儿,但这并不是出于我与你所立的约。

Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, both those who are older than you and those who are younger. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on the basis of my covenant with you.

62 我要坚立我与你所立的约,你就知道我是耶和华,

So I will establish my covenant with you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

63 好使你在我赦免你所行的一切时,就会回想,自觉惭愧,并且因你所受的羞辱不再开口。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”

Then, when I make atonement for you for all you have done, you will remember and be ashamed and never again open your mouth because of your humiliation, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

北国以色列和南国犹大多次犯罪,得罪上帝,究其原因,是因为他们放纵自己,不守约。“藐视誓言、背弃盟约”(59a)就是她们的罪状。上帝说:“我必照着你所行的报应你”(59b),因此,北国和南国受尽列强凌辱,分别于主前722年和586年被灭。

人纵然不守约,我们的上帝却必守约。上帝严惩两国,基本上是祂按照立约条文而施行的审判。严惩之后,上帝继续守约,因祂与百姓所立的,是永恒的约(参创17:1~8)。上帝说:“我仍要记念在你年幼的时候与你所立的约,也要与你坚立永远的约。”(60、62),祂要“坚立”,要确保祂与他们所立的约永远有效。上帝是信实的!祂的爱永不改变,并在这些从被掳之地归回耶路撒冷的人身上,继续延伸下去。

当祂说:“我要把她们赐你为女儿”(61b)时,祂对归回百姓的爱就淋漓尽致地彰显出来。换句话说,在所有从巴比伦归回耶路撒冷的的人中,有北国百姓的后代和所多玛百姓的后代,他们都将归于犹太民族,不再有南北之分,从那时起,他们便能再像王国统一时那样,被统称为犹太人(或以色列人)。被掳的犹太人能回归故乡,蒙上帝再次接纳为自己的子民,完全是出于上帝的恩典。

我们的上帝不会以严厉的刑罚来建立权威,却以信实、慈爱和恩典来融化人心;回归的人诚心认罪悔改,甘心情愿、谦卑地追随祂,绝非强迫,更非无奈,这正是61~63节的意思。


“藐视誓言、背弃盟约”(59a)是犹大人犯罪的根源,也是历世历代以来,人缺乏诚信、推卸责任、抛妻弃子、发假誓、离弃上帝的根源;是人彻头彻尾的自我中心、自私的表现。如果人没有习惯于向人守约,他也不会习惯向上帝守约;就让我们从今天开始,培育向上帝、向人守约的习惯。

严惩耶路撒冷的罪

35 “‘因此,你这妓女啊,要听耶和华的话!

“‘Therefore, you prostitute, hear the word of the Lord!

36 主耶和华这样说:因为你的情欲倾注出来,你与你的爱人行淫,露出你的下体,又因为你拜一切可憎的偶像,流儿女的血,把血献给偶像,

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you poured out your lust and exposed your naked body in your promiscuity with your lovers, and because of all your detestable idols, and because you gave them your children’s blood,

37 所以我要把所有与你欢合的爱人,就是所有你所爱的和你所恨的,都聚集起来;我要把他们从四围聚集起来攻击你;我要在他们面前露出你的下体,使他们看见你全身赤裸。

therefore I am going to gather all your lovers, with whom you found pleasure, those you loved as well as those you hated. I will gather them against you from all around and will strip you in front of them, and they will see you stark naked.

38 我要审判你,像审判行奸淫和流人血的妇人一样;我要因我的烈怒和妒忿,使流人血的罪归在你身上。

I will sentence you to the punishment of women who commit adultery and who shed blood; I will bring on you the blood vengeance of my wrath and jealous anger.

39 我要把你交在他们手里,他们要拆毁你的高冈,破坏你的高坛,剥去你的衣服,夺去你美丽的珠宝,只留下你赤露的身躯。

Then I will deliver you into the hands of your lovers, and they will tear down your mounds and destroy your lofty shrines. They will strip you of your clothes and take your fine jewelry and leave you stark naked.

40 他们必带一大群人上来攻击你,用石头打死你,用他们的刀把你砍碎。

They will bring a mob against you, who will stone you and hack you to pieces with their swords.

41 他们也要用火烧你的房屋,在许多妇人面前向你施行审判。我必止住你的淫行,也必使你不再把诱人行淫的礼物送给人。

They will burn down your houses and inflict punishment on you in the sight of many women. I will put a stop to your prostitution, and you will no longer pay your lovers.

42 这样我向你发的烈怒就可以平息,我的妒忿也可以离开你;我可以安静,不再恼怒了。

Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.

43 因为你不追念你年幼的日子,反而在这一切事上惹我发怒;看哪!我必照着你所行的报应在你头上,这是主耶和华的宣告。在你一切可憎的事以外,你岂不是还行了这淫乱的丑事吗?

“‘Because you did not remember the days of your youth but enraged me with all these things, I will surely bring down on your head what you have done, declares the Sovereign Lord. Did you not add lewdness to all your other detestable practices?

有其母必有其女

44 “‘凡引用俗语的,必用这俗语指着你说:有其母,必有其女。

“‘Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: “Like mother, like daughter.”

45 你实在是你母亲的女儿,她厌弃自己的丈夫和儿女;你实在是你姊妹的姊妹,她们厌弃她们的丈夫和儿女;你们的母亲是赫人,你们的父亲是亚摩利人。

You are a true daughter of your mother, who despised her husband and her children; and you are a true sister of your sisters, who despised their husbands and their children. Your mother was a Hittite and your father an Amorite.

46 你的姊姊是撒玛利亚,她和她的女儿们住在你的北面;你的妹妹是所多玛,她和她的女儿们住在你的南面。

Your older sister was Samaria, who lived to the north of you with her daughters; and your younger sister, who lived to the south of you with her daughters, was Sodom.

47 你不但行她们所行的,作她们所作的可憎之事,而且你还以那些事为小,你一切所行的比她们更坏。

You not only followed their ways and copied their detestable practices, but in all your ways you soon became more depraved than they.

48 我指着我的永生起誓,你的妹妹所多玛和她的女儿们,都没有行过像你和你女儿们所行的事。这是主耶和华的宣告。

As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, your sister Sodom and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done.

49 你妹妹所多玛的罪孽是这样:她和她的女儿们都骄傲自大,粮食丰足,生活安逸,却没有帮助困苦和贫穷的人。

Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.

50 她们自高自傲,在我面前行了可憎的事;我看见了,就把她们除掉。

They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

51 撒玛利亚所犯的罪还不及你所犯的一半;你所行的可憎之事比她更多,以致你的姊妹因你所行的一切可憎之事而显为义。

Samaria did not commit half the sins you did. You have done more detestable things than they, and have made your sisters seem righteous by all these things you have done.

52 你既然使你的姊妹较显为义,你就要承担自己的耻辱;因为你所犯的罪比她们所犯的更可憎,她们比你更显为义。你使你的姊妹较显为义,所以你就要惭愧,承担自己的耻辱了。

Bear your disgrace, for you have furnished some justification for your sisters. Because your sins were more vile than theirs, they appear more righteous than you. So then, be ashamed and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.

应许悔改者必蒙恩与复兴

53 “‘我要使所多玛和她的女儿们,撒玛利亚和她的女儿们从苦境中转回,我也要使你们跟她们一起转回,

“‘However, I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and of Samaria and her daughters, and your fortunes along with them,

54 好使你担当自己的耻辱,并且因你一切所行的使她们得了安慰,你就自觉惭愧。

so that you may bear your disgrace and be ashamed of all you have done in giving them comfort.

55 你的妹妹所多玛和她的女儿们必回复原来的状况;撒玛利亚和她的女儿们必回复原来的状况;你和你的女儿们也必回复原来的状况。

And your sisters, Sodom with her daughters and Samaria with her daughters, will return to what they were before; and you and your daughters will return to what you were before.

56 在你骄傲自大的日子,你妹妹所多玛在你口中不是成了笑柄吗?

You would not even mention your sister Sodom in the day of your pride,

57 那时你的恶行还没有显露出来,现在你却成了以东的女儿们和以东四围的众人,以及非利士的女儿们讥笑的对象。你周围的人都轻视你。

before your wickedness was uncovered. Even so, you are now scorned by the daughters of Edom and all her neighbors and the daughters of the Philistines—all those around you who despise you.

58 你要承担你那些淫乱和可憎之事的后果。这是耶和华的宣告。

You will bear the consequences of your lewdness and your detestable practices, declares the Lord.

要朗读这段经文是不容易的,因为有不少叫人难以启齿的字眼,使人读起来、听起来,都感到尴尬。上帝为什么这样说话呢?圣洁的上帝当然不愿意用这些字眼来形容祂所爱的人,但正因祂知道人对这些字眼有羞耻的感觉,祂就刻意用此来说明犯罪是一件非常羞耻的事,犯罪之人的结局也是非常羞耻的。

1.人彻底犯罪,就必彻底蒙羞:在人前裸露下休,自古以来都是羞耻的事,耶路撒冷(即城内居民)向外人露出下体(即彻底犯罪,36a),便丢弃了人格尊严的最后防线,彻底羞辱了自己的生命;她将要面对彻底羞耻的结果,因为这是出于上帝(37)!上帝要使敌人攻破她那坚固的城墙,彻底地蹂躏她(37~41a)。

2.人犯罪越多,就受辱越多:上帝用了长长的篇幅(44~52)来诉说耶路撒冷罪恶之大,比声名狼藉的撒玛利亚(北国以色列)和所多玛(参创18~19章)更甚!这怎么可能呢?北国从始至终都没出过一个好王,所多玛则是同性恋极为盛行的地方;相比之下,南国犹大出现过不少爱上帝的好王,也曾经历过几次全国性的信仰重整,岂不应该比所多玛和北国好吗?恰恰相反,因为南国经历过好王管治,经历过几次信仰重整之后,后来的王和人民竟不坚守信仰,离弃上帝,引进偶像,亵渎圣殿,犯下极为羞耻的罪!多番领受上帝恩典的南国竟仍旧犯罪,罪恶之大,实在无以复加。上帝说:“你就要惭愧,承担自己的耻辱了。”(52b)

3.在上帝施恩的日子,犯罪越多的人,越觉惭愧:北国和所多玛的后人中有悔改、转向上帝的,在上帝施恩的日子,他们将和那些悔改的犹大人一起回归,重建耶路撒冷(53)。那时的犹大人因为想起曾经的罪过,便会在上帝施恩时,愈加感到对不起上帝了(54)。


人必须承担犯罪的后果,谁也无法例外。终有一天,最隐密的罪行都会被揭露出来,那些如今装作光明天使、赢得他人赞赏的恶人,终将面对羞耻的结局,因为揭露这些事的是上帝。诗人祈祷说:“求你教导我们……好使我们得着智慧的心。”(诗90:12)其中所求的,就是一颗及时悔改的心;人若在罪行被公诸于世之后才觉羞耻,岂不是太迟了吗?

亲爱的主,我怎能舍弃你,转而追求世界的事,在罪中打滚求乐呢?


以西结书16:1~34

弃婴的比喻

1 耶和华的话又临到我说:

The word of the Lord came to me:

2 “人子啊!你要使耶路撒冷知道她那些可憎之事;

“Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable practices

3 你要说:‘主耶和华对耶路撒冷这样说:你的根源和出生地是在迦南地;你的父亲是亚摩利人,你的母亲是赫人。

and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Jerusalem: Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

4 在你生下来的日子,没有人替你断脐带,没有人用水洗你,使你洁净,没有人撒盐在你身上,也没有人用布包裹你。

On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths.

5 没有人顾惜可怜你,愿意为你作上述任何一件事;你却被人拋弃在田野,因为你出生的时候,你是被人厌恶的。

No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised.

主的宠爱

6 “‘但我从你身旁经过,见你在血中挣扎。那时,你躺在血中,我对你说:要活下去。

“‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!”

7 我使你生长起来,像田间的植物。于是你生长起来,渐渐长大,好像最美丽的珠宝,你的两乳长成,头发秀长;但你仍是赤身露体。

I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.

8 我又从你身旁经过,见你已经到了谈情说爱的时候,我就用我的衣襟搭在你身上,遮盖你赤裸的身体;我又向你起誓,与你立约,于是你就属于我了。这是主耶和华的宣告。

“‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

9 那时我用水洗你,洗净你身上的血,又用油抹你。

“‘I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you.

10 我使你身穿刺绣的衣裳,脚穿海狗皮鞋;用细麻布给你裹头;又用丝绸给你披在身上。

I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments.

11 我用珠宝给你打扮,把手环戴在你手上,把项链戴在你颈上,

I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck,

12 又把鼻环戴在你鼻子上,把耳环戴在你耳朵上,把美丽的冠冕戴在你头上。

and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.

13 这样你就有了金银的装饰,你穿的是细麻、丝绸和刺绣的衣服;你吃的是细面、蜂蜜和油;你实在非常美丽,配登王后的位。

So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.

14 你的名声因你的美丽传遍列国,你全然美丽,是因为我加在你身上的荣美。这是主耶和华的宣告。

And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord.

背约纵淫

15 “‘可是你倚仗你的美丽,又凭着你的名声去行淫;你向每一个过路的人纵情淫乱。

“‘But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute. You lavished your favors on anyone who passed by and your beauty became his.

16 你拿了你的一些衣服,为自己建造色彩缤纷的邱坛,又在那里行淫。这样的事不应发生,将来也不会再出现。

You took some of your garments to make gaudy high places, where you carried on your prostitution. You went to him, and he possessed your beauty.

17 你又拿了我送给你那些美丽的金器银器,为自己铸造男人的像,与那些像行淫。

You also took the fine jewelry I gave you, the jewelry made of my gold and silver, and you made for yourself male idols and engaged in prostitution with them.

18 你又拿你的刺绣衣服,盖在它们身上,并且把我的油和香料都摆在它们面前。

And you took your embroidered clothes to put on them, and you offered my oil and incense before them.

19 你把我赐给你的食物,就是我给你吃的细面、油和蜂蜜,都摆在它们面前作馨香的祭物。这是主耶和华的宣告。

Also the food I provided for you—the flour, olive oil and honey I gave you to eat—you offered as fragrant incense before them. That is what happened, declares the Sovereign Lord.

20 你更把你的儿女,就是你给我所生的儿女,献给它们作食物;你所行的淫乱还算是小事吗?

“‘And you took your sons and daughters whom you bore to me and sacrificed them as food to the idols. Was your prostitution not enough?

21 你竟宰杀了我的儿女,使他们经火,献给它们。

You slaughtered my children and sacrificed them to the idols.

22 你行这一切可憎和淫乱的事,并没有想过你年幼的日子,那时你赤身露体,在血中挣扎。

In all your detestable practices and your prostitution you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, kicking about in your blood.

23 “‘你有祸了,有祸了!这是主耶和华的宣告。你行了这一切恶事以后,

“‘Woe! Woe to you, declares the Sovereign Lord. In addition to all your other wickedness,

24 你又为自己建造高冈,在各广场上筑起高坛。

you built a mound for yourself and made a lofty shrine in every public square.

25 你在各路口建造高坛,使你的美丽变为可憎的,又向每一个过路的人张开两腿,多行淫乱。

At every street corner you built your lofty shrines and degraded your beauty, spreading your legs with increasing promiscuity to anyone who passed by.

26 你也与放纵情欲的邻居埃及人行淫,多行淫乱,惹我发怒。

You engaged in prostitution with the Egyptians, your neighbors with large genitals, and aroused my anger with your increasing promiscuity.

27 因此,我伸手攻击你,减少你的粮食(“粮食”或译:“领土”),又把你交给那些恨你的非利士女子,使她们任意待你;她们对你邪荡的行为也感到羞愧。

So I stretched out my hand against you and reduced your territory; I gave you over to the greed of your enemies, the daughters of the Philistines, who were shocked by your lewd conduct.

28 可是,因为你还不满足,又与亚述人行淫;你与他们行淫之后,还是不满足。

You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians too, because you were insatiable; and even after that, you still were not satisfied.

29 于是你增多你的淫乱,与贸易之地迦勒底行淫,你还是不满足。

Then you increased your promiscuity to include Babylonia, a land of merchants, but even with this you were not satisfied.

30 “‘你行的这一切事,简直是任性无耻的妓女所为,可见你的意志是多么的薄弱。这是耶和华的宣告。

“‘I am filled with fury against you, declares the Sovereign Lord, when you do all these things, acting like a brazen prostitute!

31 你在各路口建造你的高冈,又在各广场上筑起你的高坛;然而你并不像一个妓女,因为你藐视卖淫所得的赏赐。

When you built your mounds at every street corner and made your lofty shrines in every public square, you were unlike a prostitute, because you scorned payment.

32 你这淫乱的妻子啊!你竟接外人而不接自己的丈夫。

“‘You adulterous wife! You prefer strangers to your own husband!

33 人都把礼物送给妓女,你却把你的礼物送给你的爱人,贿赂他们从四面来与你行淫。

All prostitutes receive gifts, but you give gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favors.

34 你的淫行与别的妇女不同,因为不是人把礼物送给你,要求与你行淫,是你把礼物送给人,所以你是不同的。

So in your prostitution you are the opposite of others; no one runs after you for your favors. You are the very opposite, for you give payment and none is given to you.

耶路撒冷(代表犹大国)将要面临倾城之祸,在痛苦的时刻临到之先,上帝要宣布她的罪状(2),使她知道灾祸临到,绝非偶然,而完全是由于她对上帝不义、不忠、不贞的缘故。耶路撒冷罪恶深重,快到灭亡关头了,却依然执迷不悟。若要追溯、数算自己深爱之人的罪行,是非常痛苦的事,但上帝做了。祂透过先知,以一个虚拟的爱情故事,把耶路撒冷的罪行娓娓道来,祂说话的动机和目的仍然一如既往,全都是为她好,要使她知罪。上帝知道惟有她知罪,生命才有转机,上帝盼望有朝一日她终会回头。

1.耶路撒冷不义:犹太民族刚刚进入迦南时,势单力薄,根本无法在迦南各族中分一杯羹(只要回想一下那十个探子打探迦南地后的回报,便可了解);若不是有上帝爱护和帮助,她根本不会有立足之地(3);也是由于被上帝耐心培育,她才摇身一变,由一个小国变成一个强大的、在国际舞台上举足轻重、显赫一时的国家(14,如所罗门王时期)。哪知本应对上帝充满感恩的她,竟然不念上帝的恩情,反而变得心高气傲,背向上帝,与祂作对。

2.耶路撒冷不忠:上帝爱犹太选民,以夫妻之约来比喻自己和她的关系(8)。当上帝向她守约施慈爱时,她却心生外向,投奔偶像,转身拥抱埃及、亚述和巴比伦(26、28),而不寻求上帝。她背弃了和上帝之间的“婚约”。

3.耶路撒冷不贞:作为上帝的“妻子”,犹太人没有守身如玉,向上帝专一,在有需要的时候,她竟不惜付上沉重的代价,频频向外人招手,找帮助,求满足,所作所为,简直连妓女都不如;上帝痛心地以”行淫”来形容她的不贞(30~34)。


“这个人犯了罪”,“那个人违背了上帝的旨意”等话,我们很易说出口,但若用“淫乱”来形容人犯罪,总会觉得不自在吧;但上帝就是这样形容那些背叛祂、犯罪的人!

“行淫”,在我们的意识中是非常羞耻、污秽、不道德的事,所表达的就是不义、不忠、不贞。上帝盼望我们像祂,从祂的角度来看罪恶,免得把罪恶看得太轻,便不断犯罪。请花些时间省察,你对罪恶有什么感觉?目前的你对犯罪的事感到羞耻吗?

以西结书15:1~8

葡萄树的比喻

耶和华的话临到我说:

The word of the Lord came to me:

“人子啊!葡萄树的木料怎能胜过树林中的枝子呢?

“Son of man, how is the wood of a vine different from that of a branch from any of the trees in the forest?

人可以从葡萄树上取木料制造物件吗?可以从葡萄树上取木料做钉子挂器皿吗?

Is wood ever taken from it to make anything useful? Do they make pegs from it to hang things on?

看哪!已经拋在火里当作燃料,火既烧毁了两端,连中间也烧焦了,它还可以用来制造物件吗?

And after it is thrown on the fire as fuel and the fire burns both ends and chars the middle, is it then useful for anything?

看哪!它完整的时候,尚且不能用来制造物件,何况它被火烧毁和烧焦了,它还能用来做什么呢?”

If it was not useful for anything when it was whole, how much less can it be made into something useful when the fire has burned it and it is charred?

因此,主耶和华这样说:“我怎样把树林中的葡萄树拋在火里当作燃料,也必照样对待耶路撒冷的居民。

“Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: As I have given the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest as fuel for the fire, so will I treat the people living in Jerusalem.

我必变脸攻击他们;他们虽然从火里逃出来,火仍要吞灭他们;我变脸攻击他们的时候,你们就知道我是耶和华。

I will set my face against them. Although they have come out of the fire, the fire will yet consume them. And when I set my face against them, you will know that I am the Lord.

8 我必使这地荒凉,因为他们行了不忠的事。这是主耶和华的宣告。”

I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

葡萄是攀藤植物,枝干柔韧,必须依附于棚架才能长得好;它的枝干不能用作木钉,甚至当柴烧也不适合。上帝以葡萄的枝干来比喻犹大人,指出他们原本就如葡萄枝干一样,没有价值,一旦被“烧焦”,就完全没有用处了。

上帝以这个比喻来引导犹大人回想,他们之所以被拣选成为上帝的子民,一直以来蒙上帝眷爱和祝福,并非由于他们有什么过人之处,而是完全出于上帝的爱(参申7:7)。上帝悉心栽培他们,使他们的人生变得丰盛、有价值,当他们享受生活的同时,也成为天下万族的祝福,正如葡萄攀附棚架成长,结出果实,惠及多人一样;然而犹大人屡次变节,依附偶像,行事干犯上帝(8b),把原本上帝赐予的生命价值完全抛弃了!

为此,上帝曾在不同的朝代多番责罚,施行管教,因此,北国以色列被亚述所灭,南国犹大也屡次战败,百姓被掳往巴比伦,可惜耶路撒冷剩下的人依然背叛上帝!上帝预言这些人将要面对终极的审判,他们将要像葡萄枝干一样,被上帝“拋在火里当作燃料”(6a),使原本就没有用处的生命,变得完全没有价值(6),他们必要灭亡(7)。

上帝降罚于耶路撒冷居民的时候,“你们就知道我是耶和华”(7b),句中的“你们”与那些即将受罚的“他们”遥相呼应,“你们”就是那些先前被掳、现今栖身在巴比伦的迦巴鲁河边、听以西结说预言的犹大人,而“他们”就是耶路撒冷的居民。上帝极盼望那些被掳到异地,饱经沧桑的犹大人能真正认识祂。


人有什么价值呢?高耸的建筑、前沿的科技、蓬勃的经济发展等,是人类的卓越成就,是人的价值,这是世界给我们的答案。创造生命的上帝却告诉我们,人的价值,并不在于他做了什么伟大的事情,却在于他和上帝的关系怎样。

一个人若没有上帝,他的生命在人眼中无论多精彩,最终也不过是没有价值与意义的;一个和上帝有美好关系的人,事事顺服上帝的指引,他的人生一定是充实、有意义的,因为上帝的旨意完全成就在他身上。请反省你的生命有价值吗?你知道上帝要怎样引领你吗?

以西结书14:12~23

义人得救恶人灭亡

12 耶和华的话又临到我说:

The word of the Lord came to me:

13 “人子啊!如果一国行了不忠的事得罪我,我就必伸手攻击那国,断绝那地的粮食,使饥荒临到那地,使人和牲畜都从那地剪除,

“Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals,

14 即使有挪亚、但以理和约伯这三个人,他们也只能因自己的义救自己的性命。这是主耶和华的宣告。

even if these three men — Noah, Daniel and Job — were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.

15 如果我使猛兽经过那地,蹂躏那地,使它荒凉,以致因为这些兽的缘故,没有人敢经过;

“Or if I send wild beasts through that country and they leave it childless and it becomes desolate so that no one can pass through it because of the beasts,

16 即使有这三个人在其中,我指着我的永生起誓,他们只能救自己,连儿女也不能救,那地却仍然荒凉。这是主耶和华的宣告。

as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.

17 如果我使刀剑临到那地,说:‘愿刀剑经过那地,好让我把人和牲畜从那地剪除。’

“Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, ‘Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its people and their animals,

18 即使有这三个人在其中,我指着我的永生起誓,他们只能救自己,连儿女也不能救。

as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.

19 如果我使瘟疫流行那地,借着流血的事把我的烈怒倾倒在那地上,使人和牲畜都从那地剪除;

“Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath on it through bloodshed, killing its people and their animals,

20 即使当中有挪亚、但以理和约伯,我指着我的永生起誓,他们只能因自己的义救自己的性命,连儿女也不能救。这是主耶和华的宣告。”

as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.

21 主耶和华这样说:“我打发刀剑、饥荒、猛兽和瘟疫这四样可怕的刑罚临到耶路撒冷,要把人和牲畜从那里剪除的时候,那情况岂不更严重吗?

“For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments — sword and famine and wild beasts and plague — to kill its men and their animals!

22 其中将有剩下逃脱的人,连同儿女被带出来,他们来到你们那里,你们看见他们的所行所为,就会因我降给耶路撒冷的一切灾祸,得了安慰。

Yet there will be some survivors — sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought on Jerusalem — every disaster I have brought on it.

23 你们看见了他们的所行所为,就必得安慰,因为你们知道我在耶路撒冷所行的一切,并不是无缘无故的。这是耶和华的宣告。”

You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

这段经文强调上帝必不会姑息罪恶。上帝当然会惩罚个别犯罪的人,即使是整个国家犯了罪,祂也会毫不留情地把这国的人全都消灭(13)。说到罪恶,上帝刻意加上了“得罪我”(13a)三个字,为要强调犯罪就等于得罪祂,跟祂作对。正因这样,人在犯罪时都不愿意祷告、寻求上帝的帮助,若一直处在犯罪的状态中,他们的结局只有一个,就是灭亡,死在自己的罪中。

上帝也再三强调人得救是“因自己的义”(14b)。这并非说他们无罪,只是他们因信靠上帝而蒙赦罪,也因信靠上帝而乐意远离罪恶,选择良善,做正确的事;在上帝眼中,这些人就是义人,是祂所喜悦的人。但他们的义只能救自己,别人(包括他们的儿女)都不能凭借与他的任何关系而得救,每个人都必须为自己的罪负责(16、18、20)。

饥荒、猛兽、刀剑和瘟疫这四大灾祸所表达的意义相同,上帝不厌其烦地一一表述(12~14、15~16、17~18、19~20),是为了强调每样灾祸的破坏性,都足以把所有犯罪之人完全剪除,但祂却要把这四大灾祸都降在耶路撒冷!可想而知耶路撒冷的人实在罪恶滔天,到了极点!虽然他们曾多次蒙上帝拯救和恩待,却依然作恶,和上帝作对,上帝怎能不惩罚他们呢?

耶路撒冷要面对的将是极其严峻、全面性的破坏和杀戮,全城居民都无幸免(21)。然而叫人感到安慰的是,在耶路撒冷沦陷之日,“其中将有剩下逃脱的人”(22a)。这些逃脱的人不一定比其他人好,上帝没有把他们赶尽杀绝,不过是为大卫家留后,为整个犹大民族留下盼望,便使这些人都安全地被掳到巴比伦去了(22~23)。


       人之所以能得着救恩,都是出于上帝的恩典,因为我们和犹大人一样,生命中堆积了不少罪恶!上帝让我们有机会听到福音、决志相信、罪得赦免,的确有祂的美意。我们若不清楚自己被上帝拯救的美意,就无法知道我们人生的目的和意义,也就无力抗拒罪恶了。你明白上帝在你身上的旨意吗?
